Position: Nine PBS is looking for a Sales and Promotions Coordinator to assist with sales and broadcast promotions in several key areas. The Sales and Promotions Coordinator will be a key player on the Corporate Support and Broadcast Promotions team by learning and supporting each of the key roles to provide backup and advance their work. In addition, this individual will work cross-departmentally to prioritize and implement strategies that grow our revenue and engage our audience. The ideal candidate is a strong utility player with a love of public media who wants to advance the mission through sponsorship sales, promotions, and corporate relationship building.

Primary Responsibilities: The following primary responsibilities are essential to meeting the expectations of this position. This is not an exhaustive list and areas of focus may fluctuate between the primary and secondary responsibilities, as needed.

·       Assist with corporate support sales coordination including proposal development, order processing, reporting, billing, CRM management and prospecting

Assist with campaign scheduling and trafficking on both broadcast and digital properties using ProTrack and PBS campaign management software
·       Coordinate elements of video spot production including script writing

Create corporate support sales program fact sheets
·       Assist Corporate Support team with prospecting including research

·       Assist Corporate Support Manager with follow up and renewals

·       Manage RevCRM data and list requests for the team

·       Ensure campaign delivery across teams and platforms

Secondary Responsibilities: These are additional activities that are expected to be performed with this position.

  • Monthly campaign review and billing
  • Discrepancy resolution and billing collection
  • Ongoing familiarity of broadcast and digital programming on Nine PBS
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: One or more years of communications, marketing, public relations, or related experience. Experienced with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Planner, and social media platforms a plus. Knowledge and experience in non-profit organizations and/or public media, and copywriting skills following FCC/PBS guidelines a plus. In addition, the following skills and attributes are preferred.

·       Ability to manage numerous corporate support campaigns simultaneously

·       Basic knowledge of media sales, with an attention to detail and strong follow-up skills

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn industry-specific software
Meet deadlines, stay organized, and think creatively
·       Ability to prioritize, work independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and take direction

·       Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, when needed

·       Ability to handle interactions with diplomacy, give and receive feedback comfortably, and be a contributing team member at all times

Hybrid Schedule: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule, typically working up to three days virtually each week, upon approval from supervisor. Must work on-site on Tuesdays, as well as attend all team meetings, one-on-one meetings, and all-staff meetings.
