Hours: 30 hours/week, either 9 am-5 pm or 8 am-4 pm.

Position Overview: Seeking a highly organized and proactive assistant to provide administrative and operational support to an Executive Director of a nonprofit organization that focuses on connecting social good and entrepreneurism. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day tasks which ensure efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to emails, phone calls, and other communications in a timely and professional manner.
Manage scheduling appointments and meetings on Google Calendar.
Overseeing and providing the picking up of supplies, delivering documents, and handling miscellaneous tasks.
Organize and maintain files, documents, and records.
Assist with basic research and data entry tasks.
Handle general office duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Provide support for meetings, including preparing agendas and taking notes.
Perform other duties as assigned to support arising needs.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Superior listening and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Docs, Mailchimp, Constant Contact.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Professional demeanor with a customer service mindset.
Reliable transportation for local travel.
Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role is preferred.
A background check will be required.

Work Environment: This position requires flexibility, with a mix of office-based tasks and external errands. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and handling various responsibilities efficiently.

This position requires all work hours to be completed in person. While the role is fully on-site, the specific work location may vary from day to day.

This role includes a 30-day trial period to ensure it is a good fit for both the employee and the organization before moving forward with a long-term commitment.
