Pallottine Retreat and Conference Center (PRC) is seeking a dedicated Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team and help steward our mission of hospitality, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

Located on 83 serene acres in North St. Louis County, PRC offers a welcoming space for retreats and gatherings rooted in Catholic identity, with an ecumenical and inclusive outreach. Our mission is lived daily through exceptional hospitality and service to diverse groups and individuals.

Position Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) plays a vital leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of PRC, ensuring organizational effectiveness, guest satisfaction, and mission alignment. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO manages retreat operations, financial processes, office administration, and program growth initiatives. This role is ideal for an organized, service-oriented professional passionate about operational excellence and mission-driven leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, staff management, and internal systems to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
Support retreat guest relations, event logistics, contract management, and on-site hospitality.
Supervise financial operations, including billing, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting through QuickBooks.
Collaborate with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives, organizational growth, and operational planning.
Support the development of new programs and partnerships aligned with PRC’s mission.
Act as a leader and positive culture-builder across the team and retreat community.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Communications or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
3–6 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, hospitality, or retreat-based environments.
Experience in financial management, operations oversight, and team leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks; CRM platform experience a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
