We are looking for a passionate and skilled Development Associate to help us grow our fundraising efforts and strengthen our community ties.
Job Description: As a Part-Time Development Associate, you will play a vital role in our fundraising initiatives, helping to secure funding for our productions and outreach programs. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for the arts and a knack for building relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and implementation of fundraising strategies.
- Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
- Help prepare grant applications and donor proposals.
- Maintain and update our donor database.
- Support special events and fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with the artistic team to align fundraising with production needs.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in fundraising or development
- Passion for the arts and commitment to our mission.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with donor management software (a plus).
Hours & Compensation
Part-time position, approximately 20 hours/week.
Flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends required.
Compensation: $25,000yr
