St. Andrew's Resources for Seniors System

Summary of Position:
Responsible for fundraising and stewardship events, grant program and annual giving with a focus on cultivating, soliciting and stewarding mid-level donors. Must have a heart for seniors and providing them with exceptional services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Regular duties include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Primary goal of all activities is to grow the donor base, through donor prospecting, retention, and growth.
Manage all aspects of the fundraising events including logistics and working with vendors, volunteers, chairs, committees, donors and attendees. Events include:
Ageless Remarkable Saint Louisan Gala Tee Up Fore Seniors
Oversee stewardship events including logistics and working with society members and donors.
Oversee mid-level grant funders including writing    proposals/applications, developing grant reports, building relationships with grant funders and tracking grant activities and deadlines.
Direct annual fund activity for mid-level donors including mail and digital appeals/campaigns, establishing a monthly giving program and prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
Above activities will also involve activity tracking and reporting.
Cultivate and steward donors through phone calls, in-person visits, personalized correspondence, special events and timely gift acknowledgments.
Work with the foundation team on donor communications such as annual reports, newsletters, impact reports. Other duties as determined and/or assigned.

Qualifications:
3–5 years of direct fundraising experience with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
Success as a frontline fundraiser in cultivating and soliciting individual, foundation and corporate donors.
Self-motivated with a positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude and high ethical standards.
Ability to form effective relationships with donors, board members, volunteers, and staff.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and event planning skills.
Experience in writing grant proposals and reporting.
Experience with donor databases.
Strong ethical and confidentiality standards a must.
Willing to work occasional weekends and evenings when fundraising events occur.

Educational Requirements: BA/BS (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
