Gateway Housing First

About Gateway Housing First

Gateway Housing First (GHF) is a developer and owner/operator of affordable, accessible supportive housing communities for people living with disabilities in St. Louis City and County. GHF’s mission is to provide safe, high quality permanent supportive housing to individuals and families challenged by a wide range of disabilities and complex disorders who are also impacted by chronic homelessness, generational poverty, and too often, systemic racism.

GHF owns and operates 10 unique permanent supportive housing communities totaling 200 units (and growing) across St. Louis City and County while also providing long-term rental assistance and case management supports to approximately 100 households leasing from third-party landlords.  At GHF, we know that one-size-fits-all housing does not work as a solution to ending homelessness. People experiencing homelessness are as diverse in their needs and wants as the community at-large. We strive to offer an array of housing choices, so we never have to say, “we don’t have housing that works for you.”
