Since our launch in March of 2021, more than 500 women have begun a journey with Rung. Many of them have completed coaching, and career training, and have achieved better employment opportunities and increased their income.

Position summary: This position leads the Financial Education program in Rung’s Program department. The Manager, Financial Education, manages the vision and execution of the Financial Education program by working with collaborator partners and volunteers who provide one-on-one coaching sessions and facilitate group workshops. This role does not serve as a direct service provider; rather, it creates impact by coordinating, overseeing, and ensuring the quality of services provided by various content experts and partners. This includes execution of events, data collection and analysis, partnership management, and continuous quality improvement. How you’ll help Rung achieve our vision: The Financial Education program is responsible for Members increasing their financial literacy and health through building knowledge and skills in key financial areas that are critical for managing career changes, improving short-term financial status, and long-term financial growth. This position also supports Members’ experience in Rung’s program.
What will you do:
Program Development & Oversight
- Lead the development and execution of financial literacy workshops and events in collaboration with partners and volunteers.
- Coordinate one-on-one financial coaching sessions for Members through external collaborators.
- Manage logistics, scheduling, promotion, and facilitation of all financial events.
- Track and promote Member engagement with financial education services.
- Use survey data and industry best practices to recommend program improvements to leadership.
- Work with the Sr. Director of Program to ensure financial programming aligns with Rung for Women’s overall outcomes.
- Maintain positive relationships with Members to support their financial well-being.
- Develop and maintain asynchronous financial education content in the Learning Management System.
- Administer surveys & collect feedback to assess program effectiveness.
Volunteer & Collaborator Relationship Management
- Partner with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and manage financial education volunteers.
- Build and maintain partnerships with financial institutions to provide additional resources for Members.
- Manage financial coaches working through external partnerships.
Grant & Data Management
- Manage financial program grants and ensure accurate data collection for reporting.
- Enter and maintain Member data in Salesforce, maintaining timely and accurate data entry to meet monthly data audit standards.
- Oversee and execute FICO score reporting and coaching events, ensuring compliance with credit bureau standards.
- Collaborate with the Data & Evaluation Director to design Member surveys.
- Provide leadership with data insights and Member success stories.
General Program Support and Administration
- Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of the Rung for Women’s program and the achievement of organizational goals.
- Attend admissions, recruitment, and member training events to assist with cultivation of prospective members and current member support.
- Proactively assist with designing, developing, and refining programmatic processes and assets.
- Assist other departments as needed.
Schedule and Training
- This position requires some evenings and Saturdays for Member support and programmatic events.
- Ability to flex work schedule for extended hours with approval from supervisor.
- Required to work at least 3 days in the office unless meeting schedules dictate extra days.
- Employees are expected to occasionally assist with Rung’s non-programmatic events as requested.

- Cell Phone Reimbursement: up to $75 monthly.
- Professional Development: up to $2,000 annually to further your professional development, plus monthly professional development in-services.
- Team Building: organized activities throughout the year for departments and all staff to build a strong staff community.
