Civic Arts Company

Manage a social justice non-profit organization.  Civic Arts Company (CACO) currently produces Jamie Pachino’s one act play “Race”  followed by a post-performance talkback led by our Anti-Defamation League-trained actors.  We tour schools, universities, businesses, governmental agencies, religious organizations, etc.

The ED will: be the face of the company; book productions, prepare programs, surveys and educational pieces; manage fund raising activities; supervise staff and be responsible for their employment; communicate with the bookkeeper; work collaboratively with the board of directors.

Applicants should submit a resume and letters of recommendation or references along with a cover letter stating reason for interest and highlighting relevant background.  These items should be sent to tdwmd@aol.com.   Candidates will be interviewed by the current ED and by members of the governance committee.  Recommendations by that committee will be presented to the board for final selection.  Applications are by email.
