Capital Campaign Planning & Implementation

Looking to secure their future and support current faculty and programs, Logos engaged our team to help them to conduct a $5 million capital campaign. Turning Struggles into Strengths, The Campaign for Logos School, would enable the school to further its mission of providing strong academics and innovative therapy to youth at increased risk for dropping out, suicide, or incarceration.

Logos, in many ways, was in a great position, but capital campaigns can be taxing even to the strongest development teams. The school had a very strong board and campaign committee in place; however, the Head of School had no campaign experience and her Development Director had her hands full focusing on the annual fund, grant writing and events. Logos needed someone to put a campaign plan together, create support materials for the campaign, coach staff throughout the process and facilitate meetings with major gift prospects.

Our consultants provided counsel with weekly meetings and delivered all the tools the Logos team needed to implement the campaign. In the first six months of the campaign, Logos secured gifts totaling $2.1 million. Logos clearly showed that with our planning, training and facilitation, they could be successful. This campaign enabled Logos to build financial stability, ensure top-notch faculty, staff, and programs, and create a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) program, including a state-of-the-art outdoor science lab, that prepares students for jobs in the 21st Century.
